Follow-up Appointments
Follow-up appointments allow you to feedback to your physiotherapist about any changes in your
symptoms since the initial assessment. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any further questions
that you have and allows you to reflect on the impact and challenges of your rehabilitation so far.
Your physiotherapist will then suggest a plan for the session, which may include some treatment and
will most certainly involve progression of your rehabilitation and exercise program. Each follow-up
appointment will provide the opportunity to adjust your rehabilitation plan, taking you one step
closer to your exercise goals at each stage. Follow-up appointments can last from 45 minutes to an
hour.
